Home Addition in Los Altos Hills, with Junior ADU

Our clients approached us with a vision to create a luxurious, five-bedroom home addition that would enhance their property’s value and provide additional living space for their growing family. This expansive 5,500 square foot project in Los Altos Hills, California, showcases our dedication to excellence and meticulous attention to detail.

The design includes a partial basement with a home theater, office, gym and a Junior ADU. Our clients viewed the JADU as an independent space for visiting relatives, rather than renting it out for income.

Because of the topography, we had to excavate a lot of dirt and transport a lot of soil. Water level was high in the area and we had to design and construct a sophisticated gravity-fed system to take stormwater away from the basement and foundation.
